Honoring Cliff Kennedy

Cliff Kennedy:

A Founding Visionary of Glen Eden

Cliff Kennedy was one of the key people responsible for helping turn Glen Eden from a dream into a reality.

After meeting Ray and Mildred Connett at Olive Dell in 1958, Cliff became a trusted friend, advisor, builder, and visionary. He helped locate and negotiate the purchase of the land that would eventually become Glen Eden, helped plan the early layout of the club, and even created the name “Glen Eden.”

His contributions were so significant that he was awarded Pioneer Tag #1, awarded an Honorary Life Membership, and later honored with the naming of Kennedy Grove — once the heart of many of Glen Eden’s community gatherings and celebrations.

Cliff’s legacy remains deeply connected to the history and spirit of Glen Eden, and his story is one worth remembering.
